I had a really great experience at Masala Ferry. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and very authentic. You can tell they really care about the quality of what they serve. What stood out even more was the service. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you get. It's honestly such a great value.

This restaurant's weekend lunch buffet is very popular (no buffet on weekdays). I arrived at 12:30pm on a Sunday and had to wait 20 minutes; when we left at 1:30, there were still several people waiting to be seated. Some unique dishes (especially fish ones) that I've never seen at other Indian buffet restaurants are served here. Well worth the wait! The price is about $30 + tax and tip, which is reasonable. Note: the rohu fish has small bones embedded in the meat occasionally. Not a problem for those experienced with fish bone picking.

We primarily tried Koraishutir Kochuri w/ Alur Dom, Kolkata Goat Biriyani, Mutton Kosha - each item was amazing, specially Kochuri is probably the best you will get in Bay Area. Misti Doi added a final touch to this satisfying Bengali meal.

Such authentic Bengali food, straight from Kolkata to my mouth! The fish fry is sublime and kosha mutton with luchi is a brilliant combo. Would also recommend the mishti doi for a beloved Bengali dessert. The staff are very friendly and walls are decorated with lots of imagery from India, ultimately cultivating an unforgettable atmosphere!

Lovely Bengali food. Had the fish fry, the veg cutlet and manchow soup for starters. One of the best manchow soup I've had in the US. The service was also good, oneers gave us in depth recommendations and details to help us choose. They also have buffet and chat / street food in the evening time. For main course we had the fish curry with special fried rice. Very delicious fish with skin and bone too btw!

It was my wedding Anniversary ! After a long eventful day, I decided to get the food ordered from Masala Ferry, even though the original plan was to get it from a reknowned Biriyani place in Mountain View! But I'm glad I changed my plan! I ordered Kolkata-style Mutton and Chicken biriyani, Mutton kosha, natun gurer sondesh! Masala Ferry simply made my day !! The food was sumptuous and when it comes with a sprinkle of friendliness and genuine care, that's the secret ingredient!

We had catering for a corporate event and I enjoyed all the appetizers: Fish Fry, Paneer and Vegetable Chop were good. I had never had these food items before so it was nice to try some new Bengali dishes for a change! I highly recommend this restaurant for catering.

We visited this restaurant specifically for its Bengali dishes, we were given an authentic experience. We intend to visit again with friends so they can enjoy Bengali food. I can recommend everything that we tried, I had the Biryani which was excellent my companions had the Thali. I would recommend the Thali is it allows you to try more dishes.
